Listmoth is a desk for resale sellers. You photograph a piece, get a listing draft and a price range, then copy it into shops you already use. This page says what the app stores and sends.

Sign-in

Sign-in is through Clerk. Listmoth does not keep its own password. When we write our own records, we store your Clerk user id and, when we have it, your email.

What we store

Photos, drafts, beta claims, feedback, waitlist emails, the comps cache, billing stubs, and invite records are stored in Vercel Blob (private objects). Local development can use a folder on disk instead. There is no separate user database.

A draft holds the photos you upload, your notes, the generated listing fields (title, description, category, brand, condition), and any price range saved on that draft.

A beta claim stores the account, the email, and when the 90-day Pro window starts and ends.

Feedback you send in the app is one JSON file: your note, what worked, what broke, whether you would use it weekly, an optional draft id and page, your email, your plan, and a short browser user-agent. That form saves the file. It does not send mail. You can also email us.

A waitlist signup stores the email and the time you joined.

The comps cache stores a hash of the search words (brand, title, category) and the price band that came back. It does not store your photos. A band is kept for about seven days.

A billing record stores the plan, the Stripe customer id, the subscription id, the status, and beta dates when they apply. It does not store a card number.

An invite record stores a hash of the invite code, who redeemed it, and the extra draft grants.

Listing drafts

When a listing is generated, resized photo bytes and your notes go to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway. The model is asked for a title, description, category, brand, and condition. It is not asked for a sale price. If the gateway is not configured and an OpenAI key is set, that same request goes to OpenAI. If neither is configured, the draft stays a local stub and the photos are not sent out.

Price ranges

SoldComps provides price estimates. We send a short keyword from the draft, not the photo. The low, typical, and high numbers are estimates, not a guaranteed sale price.

Payments

Stripe handles Pro payments. Checkout and the billing portal run on Stripe. Listmoth never sees card numbers. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription ids so the account can be marked Pro.

What Listmoth does not do

Exports are copy/paste only and never autopost. Listmoth is not affiliated with Depop, Vinted, Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, or any other marketplace. Listmoth does not give selling or financial advice.

Removing something

There is no delete button in the app. Email us and say what you want taken down.
